"Join the Center for Student Engagement and find ways to engage in the Reno/Sparks area. We will talk about our non-profit partners and a number of ways to volunteer in the community. At this session we will end with a hands-on service project. Students who attend this session will: 1. Understand the difference between Service Learning and Episodic Volunteering 2. Know how to find service learning courses in MyNevada 3. Activate their University GivePulse account to sign up for volunteer opportunities while at Nevada 4. Learn the name and mission of a non-profit organization 5.Participate in a hands on project from a non-profit organization"
