Everyone was great, there was always something to do. The work went by quickly and the staff was awesome.
This event was great in learning about the community and the organization that help it run. There are a lot of opportunities for students to help their community in various ways. Helping these efforts shows character and work ethic, I think it's a great way to get involved!
I know I mostly just organized the place and made sure everything was in the right place, but I felt that I was doing more. Giving back to the community in unexpected places like this makes you feel a certain type of way. I'm glad that I was able to volunteer my time and help out. Definitely would recommend to someone looking to give back.
Great event, really puts into perspective how long and strenuous a career in medicine is. A lot of information was given out by the director of admissions on what UNR is looking for in terms of applicants and their experience.
