About

Hi my name is Mercedes! I am currently a Senior at UNR and I am an SLP-AUD major. I really want to work with children (possibly in the NICU), as well as with the local Tribes in the Northern Nevada area, but we’ll see where the road will take me!

I was able to volunteer for the the JustInHope Foundation, Classic Car show and I had such a great time! A few of the other NSSLHA girls and I were able to help the organization by directing the car traffic within the event and helping people set up their vehicle spots.

I attended the succulent event at UNR for NSSLHA in September, and it was such a fun event! We put together succulent plants and hung out with the other group members. It was great opportunity for me to meet students in our same educational field.
