I really enjoyed my self working with the children and their parents at the JUSTin Hope foundation. The kids were all very kind and kept me on my toes!
I really enjoyed spending time with all of the children at JustIn Hope. I do plan on going back and volunteering more time with them (on my own time). I also thought the parents were very nice and seemed very appreciative of all of the volunteers, which was super nice!
My work set up an informational booth that my manager and I ran, distributing information on end of life planning. I also gave a speech to our communities elders on the importance of advanced directive, DNR’s, and about the Nevada lock box, which is a place to store those important documents instead of carrying them on them.
I really enjoyed my time volunteering and helping the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony's Native American day. I got to meet new people in the community and the whole event was extremely rewarding.
