The outcome of my impact was that I was able to speak with people in our community that were living in weekly motels. Many of the people were homeless and it was a very eye-opening opportunity. I was able to work with others to register people in those areas to vote, which is a very important right for people to express. I also learned a lot about the voting process myself. The woman that is in charge of ACTIONN was very humbling and inspiring and I’m thankful to have had an opportunity to learn and work with her. She made me realize the homeless population is struggling severely with their lack of enough space in our shelters.
