    I decided to give back to the community today by donating toys, clothes and kitchen supplies to salvation army. I also, donated a couple of shampoos and conditioners to Bundt cakes to help contribute to their fundraising goal for underprivileged individuals.

    I've been volunteering for about 1 1/2 years at Renown and since i've begun in the volunteer program I have been able to get various experience in different areas of the hospital. After being away for some time and missing being able to interact with patients, I decide to begin volunteering again. I had a great time volunteering alongside old friends and the nurse staff.

    It was a great day spent doing service with my sisters. We had an opportunity to sit and talk with one another while engaging in service. We made over 400 sandwiches in less than two hours. Its amazing what we can accomplish with few people and little time.

    I was able to help out a sister at her mothers job at LP insurance by helping to file and sort documents in the office. I think it is important to be able to help out a sister when she needs help.

    For our annual Big Brothers Big Sister event my sisters and I were able to provide a fun and safe environment for children to celebrate Halloween with their Bigs and dress up and enjoy free snacks/candy and games.

    Every year Kappa Delta Chi dedicates a day of service to cleaning our adopted street down by Sutro street in order to help better our community and environment. This is something I have been able to be a part of since becoming a member of Kappa Delta Chi and look forward to continue being able to contribute for many years to come.
