About
The Brushfire Literature & Arts Journal is a student-run organization at the University of Nevada, Reno. Brushfire publishes biannually. All the art that is reviewed and published by Brushfire is submitted through our website.
With each iteration of the Brushfire, we strive to represent the diversity, originality and dedication of our artistic community. As an ASUN organization, we also strive to be the creative outlet for our student body at UNR. Our main priority is to connect with the various art communities at UNR and throughout Reno. However, anyone can submit to Brushfire.
Brushfire hosts art-oriented events and workshops (e.g. open mics, poetry/writing workshops, guest speakers) throughout the semester. If you are interested in working, volunteering, or getting published in Brushfire — or if you want to help produce the semesterly publication – please contact us!
