Student Nutrition Association

About

The Student Nutrition Association (SNA) is an academic club serving as a link to social, academic, and community resources for students interested in nutrition and health. SNA believes that good nutrition, including a well balanced diet and regular physical activity, is the foundation for health and development. Membership offers a way to participate in campus and community volunteer work and service, network with fellow students, attend educational conferences, and make new friends. Participation, especially if serving as an officer, will enhance your resume for dietetic internships, scholarships and future employment. Some of the activities include: Awareness and Educational events on and off campus, grocery tours, volunteering at community fundraising events and nonprofit organizations, attending professional conferences, including the Nevada Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (NvAND) quarterly meetings and Annual Meeting and Expo.
