Dilworth Middle School Engineer Fair

Wednesday, May 9th, 2018 from 7:15am to 11:30am

About

Middle School students will have a chance to interact with University engineering students. The 8th grade students will cycle through the tables during their science class period. University students will be set up at a table representing their major. They will conduct a quick demonstration that pertains to their major, present basic College of Engineering information, and answer any questions the students may have. This event is an opportunity for middle school students to interact with College level students, and help them become aware of all forms of engineering majors available at the University. Volunteers will not need to prepare any activities or information ahead of time. A brief sheet of information will be provided for talking points and to help answer any questions.
