Do you want to be part of a graduation celebration?  Then the Latino Graduate Celebration is a perfect place to volunteer.  During this event, you will help with celebrating the academic accomplishments of Latino students form the University of Nevada, Reno.  Please join us in making this event a success.

You are expected to be professional, dress business casual, take direction from The Center staff, ask for clarification, engage with students and th eir families, smile and have fun!
PerksYou will feel great seeing the graduates' joy, and you will also enjoy a piece of Nothing Bundt Cake bundt cake, coffee, and water.
Parking DetailsFree parking at West Stadium parking garage on the top floor afternoon of the event.

Set up tables and tablecloths, set up decorations, assist with food and beverage table set up, set up honor cords, set up gift table, stow all decoration boxes as directed, and assist as needed.1/10Over

Assist with setting up tables, tablecloths, table decorations, food table set up, clean-up kitchen area, greet and check-in graduates and families, pass out programs, answer guests' questions with a smile and up-beat attitude, assist as needed and directed.3/10Over

Assist with event taking place as needed, direct late arrivals to seats, manage door opening and closing, oversee food and beverage tables, cut cake, plate food as needed, restock beverages, restock cake, monitor areas for cleanliness and clean as needed-i.e., used plates and glasses left on tables are thrown away, tablecloths straightened decorations adjusted if moved by useage, and assist where needed and as directed. Food handling gloves will be worn when serving food.4/10Over

Throw away plates and cups left on tables, return decorations to boxes, remove tablecloths and place in The Center common area, load up leftover plates, cutlery and glasses, and move to The Center, throw away cake and food trash, move beverage dispensers, water bottles, and food trays, to The Center kitchen, move decorations and leftover graduate gifts to The Center. All items to be removed from the ballrooms will be moved either by carrying or by use of a rolling cart.3/10Over
