Martin Luther King jr Day of service, 2023

Join the Center for Student Engagement for this year's Martin Luther King jr. Day of Service.
This year we'll be partnering with the Boys & Girls clubs of Truckee Meadows!

We will meet at the Boys & Girls club at 1090 Bresson Ave Reno, NV 89502 at 10:00am

The Center for Student Engagement and University volunteers will help the Boys and Girls club team lead art activity to create marching signs, participate in a march around the Boys and Girls Club facility, and we will also read the kids a story about Martin Luther King Jr. and have a discussion about why we celebrate the day. 

-Wear your favorite Nevada clothing

-Wear comfortable shoes! We'll be walking around a lot.

-Bring a refillable water bottle. You'll get thirsty!

-Bring a great attitude! The kids will be excited to see you and chat!

- lunch will be provided by the Boys and Girls Club
