Safety & Justice Wolf Pack Community Howl

Thursday, September 17th, 2020 from 3:30pm to 5:00pm (PT)

About

Safety and Justice - How should communities reduce violence?
This dialogue will explore 3 options. 1 - Expand policing while expanding community-police partnerships. 2 - Remove injustice, reform inequities and improve accountability. 3 - Address the causes of violence and take direct actions to disrupt conflicts.

What is a Community Howl?  It’s a chance for interested faculty, students, staff, and community members to have a deliberative discussion (small group structured conversation facilitated by an undergraduate student) about issues that impact our community.  It is not a debate—we aren’t looking for winning sides or partisan talking points. We are looking to create experiences of dialogue and bringing perspectives together in one place.
