About

Dear Students,
As you may know, the University of Nevada, Reno is aspiring to become an Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) and according to Excelencia in Education (https://www.edexcelencia.org/), the university is currently an emerging Hispanic Serving Institution (eHSI). In an effort to work towards the HSI designation, Dr. Edward Martinez, an American Council on Education (ACE) Fellow, is conducting a study to assess the university's current capacity to serve Latinx students.  As part of this study, you are invited to participate in one of a series of student focus groups so that we can obtain the students perspective on how and what the university is doing to serve Latinx students.

We look forward to your participation!
